'I got new rules' says Jennylyn Mercado as she posted a video of her singing the famous song 'New Rules' by Dua Lipa. What rules would that be? Well, everyone's been curious about it. However, the video gained a lot of shares, positive comments and likes.
A post on instagram went viral as she was bare-faced with her black workout outfit and a ponytail. It looks like the whole thing wasn't planned at all. Jennylyn Mercado have been known by many not just through her acting performances on the televisions and successful big movies but also by her single hits and albums. Mercado started as a recording artist with Alpha Records in 1999 through the recommendation of her voice coach, Susanna Pichay. Later in 2003, she joined the reality show StarStruck and won receiving 1,000,000 pesos plus exclusive contracts from the GMA Network. This was then the peak of her career. After winning StarStruck, multiple endorsements and her career even more expanded.
Before the video went viral, they did had a jamming session with the same song already along with her boyfriend Dennis Trillo. Dennis was strumming the guitar while Jennylyn was singing and taking a video of them . The couple were enjoying the moment and they really look so romantic. The video posted has a hashtag of Couplegoals. Since we all know that Dennis and Jen are both not just good artists but also good singers. Dennis had launched a number of albums as well.
Above all positive compliments, there will always be negative ones. However, avid fans would always be an avid. People who knew them better had rebuttals on the negative netizens.
