Nagsimula ang malaking isyu na ito noong October 2018 nang biglang nagkaroon ng malaking isyu ang dalawang young singer nang mag-tweet si JK ng alleged 'Gayness at its finest si Jk tinutukoy si Darren Espanto.Itinanggi naman ito ni JK at sinabing hindi niya matanggap na humingi siya ng tawad sa pagkakamaling hindi naman daw niya ginawa dahil at that time hindi raw siya ang nag-post dahil na-hack daw ang kanyang Twitter.
and di ko lang kayang gawin ay humingi ng patawad sa mga bagay na hindi ko ginawa. Mamatay man lahat ng tao na mahal ko at nagmamahal sa'kin per once and for all, hindi ako ang nag-tweet nun at hindi siya ang pinag-uusapan namin sa pbb dati. Yun lang yun.Ngayon napapabalitang nag-file ng legal action ang nanay ni Darren ng 'Cyber libel' na case dahil up to now ay malaking kasiraan kay Darren ang gayness isyu.

Darren is being bullied, maligned, disrespected and insulted many times, now is the time for him and his family to stand up. Sadly people esp. young people in social media are so irresponsible, as if they can do anything without any consequences, spreading hate instead of love, kindness and compassion. What is more disturbing is when lie is freely spread as if it is the truth, when opinion or comment is expressed without regards to the feeling of others, when the power of social media is abused and misused....If only people are more respectful, kinder and compassionate and spread love and peace..just hoping and praying because we all deserve to be happy.
I don’t understand why I see people siding with JK in this one. They say na Darren is overreacting. They say that if Darren is really not gay, then he should let this slide off. Seriously, if someone disrespects and belittles you, you’re just going to calm down? Actually, Darren has stayed very calm all these years until he snapped. He’s had enough. This isn’t overreacting. This is how he should handle the situation.
Sexuality is a sensitive topic. You don’t go labelling people they’re gay just because you think they are. You don’t use ‘gay’ as a degrading term for someone. You should respect a person for however he is as long as he’s not doing anything bad.
Darren was raised in a good household and had a good upbringing. The way he is now says a lot about how he was brought up. It reflects, you know? I just don’t know about the other kid. Pfft.
Something bad really happen during the transition ni jk fr age 16 till his current age. So much rage and hate, and to do it against his former best friend. Gosh who cracked his head to be the jk he is now. He changed at kahit fan pa ni jk since b4 makakapansin n malaki pinagbago ng paguugali nya. Nkkpanghinayang ung pinagsamahan at pagkakaibigan nila since tvkp. Was it all because the other had much attention while the other needs to make a noise to become relevant again and to fight obscurity fr showbizness?
Personally, mas gusto ko na mag settle na lang but the parents made their decision and we're out of it. No one has the right to question what a parent, esp the mother, does to protect their child. Nagfile na po ng kaso. Judging from the gravity of the action, this was not a one time thing. I still remember nung finals ng the voice kids, i think sinabi pa nung parents ni darren na if darren won, they'll give the house n lot to lyka instead.
As a person who experienced bullying, naiintindihan ko talaga parents ni darren and darren himself. But the bullying goes both ways kasi sadly nabubully din nung fans ni Darren si jk in response to his actions towards darren. Sana mag apologise nlng yung bata para tapos na. Mabuting bata pa ma correct na yung attitude ni jk, sayang naman talaga pag lumala pa.
