Life is always full of surprises. We will never know what will happen, how it will affect us and when it will make or break us. Nicomaine Dei Capili Mendoza, popularly known as Yaya Dub, is the living embodiment of this statement. She quickly rose to fame by accident when she uploaded skits online.
Yaya Dub's claim to fame was uploading her quirky and entertaining Dubsmash videos, which caught the attention of local noontime show, Eat Bulaga. Since then, she was popularized with co-star, Alden Richards as a "love team". Yaya Dub has been very reserved about her life and has decided to speak up now.
Yaya Dub took to Twitter and posted 3 pictures with the caption "I got myself, I will catch myself, and I will pick myself up". These pictures were actually an open letter regarding everything, but mainly highlighting the fact that Alden and her were just friends.
Disappointed but still support AlDub fans everywhere understood and said they will never abandon her because they love her for who she is and not who she's with. The text version can be read in her blog.
