Formerly known as Marlou Arizala, Xander Ford (the viral internet star) received online criticism over his message to last Hashtag member Franco Hernandez, because some netizens said that it was below the belt or insensitive to what had happened.
It was said to a previous report, Franco died of drowning on Saturday after their boat was hit by a strong wave causing him and his girlfriend to fall off the boat. Janica Name Floresca (his girlfriend) survived this incident, but unfortunately Franco Hernandez did not. He was already unconscious while being brought to the nearest clinic and later on declared dead on a arrival.
Numbers of celebrities like Anne Curtis, Vice Ganda, Barbie Imperial, Myrtle Sarosa and even his close friends from hashtags took to social media to express their grief.
And among those who express their sadness, is the internet sensation Xander Ford.
However, the statement regarding about the tragedy did not went well. In fact, it gained a lot of negative comments. It turned out that some people were being in doubt about the sincerity of Xander's post.
