Rachel Peters is currently competing for the Miss Universe title. Fans and followers from the Philippines are supporting her to the fullest, especially since the Philippine win streak was broken by Ms. Mariel de Leon when she failed to land a slot at the top 10. Filipinos are still hoping for the crown due to the fact that Philippine representative Pia Wurtzbach won it back in 2015, and Maxine Medina landed in the Top 6 in 2016.
It's easy to see that the preliminary competition of a beauty pageant is one of the most difficult parts because you have to attract the judges with your walk, poise and elegance. Not only that, you are up against all of the most beautiful women representing their countries. Before reaching the Top 40 or Top 20, you have to dazzle the judges with your beauty and elegance because you don't have the chance to speak yet.
Good thing most of the Philippine representatives have undergone extensive training and practice, in order to let themselves become attractive in the eyes of the judges. Hopefully, Miss Rachel Peters will glide all the way to the top, impress the judges with her wit and take back the Ms. Universe crown.
